Warmth Of Summer

The Warmth of Summer design is my final seasonally inspired design on my miniature tower shape piece.

The inspiration for the Warmth of Summer design developed from focusing on all the elements that make the first signs of summer so exciting to behold. The weather becomes noticeably warmer, we lose those crisp spring mornings as they give way to warmth and the countryside blooms in its rich summer bounty.

I thought carefully about all the emblements that construct a quintessential British summer, there were so many to choose from. I finally settled on two key aspects of summer; sumptuous delicious strawberries and black birds with their glossy black plumage.

To enable the Warmth of Summer design to capture the essences of summer, I decided on a colour pallet that focused on bold colours eliciting lovely contrasting aspects.
